One Saturday every two months in Sonoma County, you will have an opportunity to walk out into the mirrored heart of nature with intention and individual guidance. This is a unique invitation to dive deeply into the inner and outer landscapes of what have heart and meaning for you. Is there a significant decision you need to make? An old painful pattern you wish to release? A gift hiding in your shadows you want to bring out into the light? A transition to mark? Deeper connection with inner knowing you seek?
You will have an abundant 4-1/2 hours of solo time on the land to seek what wisdom the natural world has to reflect for you. You will carry your intention, your grief and longing, your willingness to allow your mind and heart to open, and perhaps your joy. A half hour of one-on-one time with me immediately before and after your time alone will help to clarify ground, and empower your intent. Time frames will be very specific and reserved in advance. Availability is as follows:
~9:00-9:30 and 2:00-2:30 ~9:45-10:15 and 2:45-3:15 ~10:30-11:00 and 3:30-4:00 ~11:15-11:45 and 4:15-4:45
To reserve your place, please select your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices of time frames listed above, and email them to me. This will be first come, first serve. The fee of $100 covers a total of one hour of our meeting time and the holding of basecamp while you are out. Payment must be received in advance. Upon reserving your place, all details will be sent to you, including where to meet, what to bring, and a map of the territory.

Using The Circle Way developed by Peerspirit as our guide, we will practice the components of circle as a form of intentional, collaborative conversation.
We will co-create circles together sharing and rotating the leadership as we do through the seasons. This circle practice is about developing presence, participation and accountability, about self-governance, quality conversations and effective leadership. Our intent is to practice circle in our everyday lives, with our families, work, schools and other organizations we are involved with in order to use circle to support collective healing.
This is an opportunity for us to develop and deepen community; explore the history of circles and where we can take them; how to sue circle process to face shadow and situational challenges; how to envision and set the course to bring circle into our real lives and more!

Summer 2017 will be the first of a 4-part series, a day out on the land, exploring and inspiring each other to share the stories from the “Spring” of our lives (our earliest memories). There will be time to contemplate our life’s rich stories and time to share with each other.
“A human life has seasons much as the earth has seasons, each time with its own particular beauty and power. And gift. By focusing on springtime and summer, we have turned the natural process of life into a process of loss rather than a process of celebration and appreciation. Life is neither linear nor stagnant. It is movement from mystery to mystery. Just as a year includes autumn and winter, life includes death, not as an opposite but as an integral part of the way life is made.” -- Rachel Naomi Remen
Reclaiming Playful Wonderment A Daylong on the Land for Men
It is in playing and only in playing that the individual child or adult is able to be creative and to use the whole personality, and it is only in being creative that the individual discovers the self. DW Winnicott
Was there a time in your life when you played wildly, unaware of time? Do you recall the joy and wonder of discovering a secret place in nature? A tree to climb, a path through the woods?
It can be difficult to remember such a time as our lives have become filled with the responsibilities of adulthood.
Summer is a time of youthful discovery, and amazement. This daylong program is designed to inspire men to reclaim and honor playful wonderment in their lives. Join a circle of men, gathering to support themselves and each other. Walk the land with an intention to be guided by your childlike essence. Let yourself be witnessed in your story of reclaiming.
Our time together will include introductions, setting intentions, solo time walking, story sharing, inspiring poetry, and playful rhythmic games.

Out on the Land Honoring nature's reflection of the QUEER spirit
Please join us for a day OUT on the land, to see and feel, with new eyes, how nature offers a deep reflection of our own queer spirit. For many of us, we are on a deeply personal journey to achieve a sense of belonging. Earth’s wild landscape is overflowing with a diversity that is all-inclusive and provides the ground for reflections that exist beyond the bounds of the human gender binary system. Together, as a community, we will explore the themes of Queer Identity and Belonging as we relate to our natural environment.
Pilgrimage: My Life A Walking Prayer
October 20-21, 2017... Friday evening through Saturday
Sugarloaf Ridge State Park, Sonoma County
10 participants - men and women of all ages, all faiths, all backgrounds
Pilgrimage walking is about being in relationship with the land and the trails of our ancestors... human, plant, animal and spirit. It's about receiving gifts and healing from deep nature.
Pilgrimage is walking with a purpose in mind and ties us to history, to spiritual practices and intimately to the earth. A transformation, healing, or vision is sought from walking the path of a pilgrim.
Walking prayer and walking meditation are ancient practices of mindfulness, slowing us down in order to witness what is right before us. This simple way of walking often supports the heart to open, invites us into the generosity of the world and returns us to the way our body touches the body of the earth.
There is so much change in our lives and yet something stays the same. What Pilgrimage are you walking at this time in your life and what seeks to be transformed? Come join us on a journey of deep self discovery.
We begin the Pilgrimage with this first weekend at Sugarloaf in Fall 2017 and will continue into 2018.
We begin early evening Friday October 20th for a shared meal and council of intention, Staying overnight on the land there will be a full day of solo on Saturday October 21st ending with a shared meal and Story Council.
Over the arch of a year, we will come together for a combination of day walks, overnight camping, weekend programs and perhaps longer questing time on the land. You can come for this first weekend or join us for the full year long program.
