Program Description
Our lives, and the world we live in, are changing fast. At times, our life and all we cherish may feel beyond our power or ability to shape. How do we, as Men, keep up with the demands and meet the challenges of these changing times?
To move more fully in our lives or into what comes next, we can contemplate the questions – What does it mean to be a man in these times? Who am I now? Who would I like to become? How do I live my life with embodied intention? What are my wounds to heal, or my gifts to share?
Each of us meets the challenges of life in our own unique way. Is your way serving you? Is it time to slow down and clarify what a balanced and conscientious masculine looks like for you? How do you want to show up for what comes next? We encourage you to take this time to explore your life questions in ceremony, and in wild nature.
During this week-long program you can expect daily check-ins, guided and silent meditations, and an intention council to prepare for the challenges of a 24 hour solo fast. We will offer teachings on physical safety, right relationship to the land, the tradition of rites of passage, and honoring the native inhabitants of the land.
We invite any who identify as Male to join us in the beautiful Inyo Forest with a group of others dedicated to finding their greatest purpose in this one precious life.
Land Acknowledgement
We at EarthWays acknowledge that the lands upon which we offer our programs are the unceded ancestral homelands of the indigenous people who have lived here for thousands of years. While we are committed to cultivating healing and balance between modern-day humans and the Earth, there is much healing and reparation work yet to be done with the Native communities who have been persecuted and exploited for centuries. It is with deep respect and gratitude that we honor the Nüümü (Northern Paiute) of Inyo County, CA. Their endurance and wisdom inspire us to continue our efforts to create an inclusive, life-sustaining society that is in balance with Mother Earth.
Group limited to eight (8) participants.
Limited number of scholarships available.
